Arnica chamissonis, also known as Meadow Arnica, is a beautiful and hardy perennial herb that thrives in sunny to partially shaded areas with moist, well-drained soil. This plant is native to the mountain meadows and slopes of western North America, but grows readily, but not weedily in the Eastern US. With its bright yellow flowers and toothed, lance-shaped leaves, Arnica Chamissonis adds color and texture to any landscape. Historically, arnica has been used for its medicinal properties, including its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects. It is also commonly used in herbal remedies to treat bruises, sprains, and other minor injuries.
